My first time experience: Ate one berry and removed the seed and after about a minute I ate a green apple and... Wow! The green apple tasted like if I dipped it in concentrated sugar; supper sweet. Then I tried the usual culprits lemons and limes. They tasted like they were soaked in sugar for a day: very sweet, but the normal tang and tartness of limes and lemons remained. Then I drank a mug of lime water without sugar; it was sweet and refreshing. In my mind I felt as if my body was consuming dangerous amounts of sugar (that's how sweet the sensation can be sometimes), I actually had to remind myself that its just the berries.
