I don't care if it scuffs the boat paint, but will it shear paint off?** A: I have a painted aluminum boat and so far not a problem. I've had it on my trailer for 2 plus seasons. **Q: How many 24ft boards will this cover? just one?** A: It's a fair question. I bought the 16' kit thinking it would cover two boards on my 16ft trailer but it's just 16' of material (My fault for not reading) My bunks are each about 12' long so I am getting the 24' kit instead. To answer your question more succinctly, it comes with 24' of material so it will only cover one board. It does come with 4 endcaps, so you could buy another roll of just the wrap and you'd be all set. **Q: Extra endcaps can you purchase more?** A: Hello! Great question! You sure can - we have 4-pack end caps available that come with hardware - the part number for 2x4" in Black is 23051-BK. Please let us know if you have any other questions! **Q: If this is actual 4”x 2” at what point do you attach it to you bunk. Drawing does not show it fitting under side of bunk 4”x2” ?** A: It wraps around the 2"x 4" bunk board and you attach it to the bunk board on the bottom with stainless screws , this allows moister to drain away from bunk boards. Haven’t tried in the water yet but I’m sure my mudboat will be just fine with the plastic covered bunks. Install was quick and easy even doing it alone. Took me about 1.5 hours from start to finish.A few tips:1. Use extra Velcro straps. I used 12 on a 10ft bunk. Made doing it alone very easy.2. Buy extra screws and space the screws 6” apart. I also used stainless washers because like someone else said if you drill too much the standard screw head will go through the plastic.3. Drill pilot holes. Made it much quicker and easier.4. Use stainless staples in between screws.
