I decided to invest in a food scale and really glad I did. As it turns out, some of my guesses on serving sizes were way off! This little scale is extremely easy to use and comes with the batteries it requires. The screen lights up so it's easy to see. I received the black with clear bowl. I have seen some mention they received white and the box does show there is a white option. I especially like that this comes with a bowl & you can use it with or without. The bowl is plastic and has a little pour spout. I haven't had to use it for liquids yet. For easy clean up, I just line the bowl with a paper towel or plastic wrap. Once you are done weighing, if you are transferring the food to a pan, etc you can just pick it up & carry it where it needs to go.
