I'm guessing that's why other reviews might be bad.I used an alcohol pad and then carefully wiped it with a microfiber cloth until no dust or specs were visible. I then stuck the home button on like a sticker. Although it's a solid black color the Touch ID function works flawlessly. No joke, I have yet to have a failed attempt on my 5S with it. I was surprised.However, I would not buy this product if you don't have a tempered glass screen protector. It takes away the "hole" that glass protectors cause on the fingerprint scanner which is very nice. If you don't have one it most likely will lip out a little from flush with the screen.I installed this after changing my housing to gold and black. It's very nice looking. Much more "gold" than champion gold though.That's as much as I can think to write. I'll update this if it falls off, but it feels like it's stuck on pretty good.
