There were some deep old rust spots that required 2 treatments but it still worked. It turns the rust purple as it works and when you go to flush it off the purple color will come back again as it is still working on the rust deep in the pores of the concrete so you have to rinse it, wait a bit, rinse it, wait a bit and do that about 5 times until it is all gone. It works, but it does take a while to get all the purple stains off after it's done it. and in a couple areas it did take a second go.
