If you are a semi-serious gamer, unless you need a spare mouse and a headset I would shoot for just the keyboard. The mouse has some nice features (slim design, nice size and shape, three total but two functional dpi settings (300 is worthless)with the click of a button) but as far as construction goes is pretty cheap. Although you can adjust the sensitivity in-game it doesn't make up for the basic configuration (lack of side buttons extremely light weight)and anoying ridge around the buttons. This is quite awkward as far as mice go. The headset is pretty cheaply constructed but if a behind the neck headset with mike is your thing it will suit you just fine as long as you don't have too big a head. For lack of no other option this is a good kit but for the "Gamer" stick with just the keyboard unless you need some backup hardware in the event of an emergency or for your laptop bag (my use for them).
