## Description

The ECG cable (3-lead) is designed for the Personal ECG monitor MD100A12 and MD100A1. Fasten the ECG electrodes onto your chest, attach the leads and plug the cable to MD100A. Turn the power on and start taking a reading.

Review: Method 1 is very "noisy" (at least for me) and difficult to get a good reading from - Using these cables cleaned up the noise floor and made it much easier to distinguish P waves from QRS Complex than if taking a reading using the built in contact sensors on the unit itself. The unit provides 3 basic sense modes: 1) right hand index finger to left hand palm, 2) right hand index finger to lower left chest, and 3) wire leads to chest electrodes. Method 1 is very "noisy" (at least for me) and difficult to get a good reading from. Method 2 works much better, and is a pretty decent reading. Method 3 is clearly the best of the three but for "everyday" use, I'd say that method 2 is fine. The time taken to hook up the cables and place the electrodes is a bit of a hassle and probably not necessary unless you really need a good clean signal during an "event" which you want to save for later examination by your physician. So, the cables work great but you probably won't be using them all the time. I don't.
