I've had if for about 2 weeks ... *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2014* Fantastic case. I've had if for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. Initially I had 1 concern, which was whether the corners weeks be protected in a fall; and one "feature" I was interested in, which was NO COVER /LID! All other cases for this tablet have a cover so I had to do some searching! I have an iPhone 5 with an otterbox case, and it is a hard plastic case around the phone with a silicone cover wrapped around that. That case has saved my butt many times and has helped me to realize that I definitely have my moments if clumsiness!! I was looking for a case similar to that but otterbox has yet to make a case for the Asus, nor does any competitor. After reading the reviews this seemed like a great choice, with, as I mentioned at the beginning, my only concern being how well protected are the corners in case of a drop. Well I will say that I am well pleased. The corners on this bad boy are protected by very thick and tough material, and although their now protected by a hard plastic-type material I am confident that in the case of a drop I'm good-to-go! As stated in other reviews this does add a good amount of thickness, so if you're interested in keeping your Asus thin this is not a good choice. If that's not an issue and you have a similar interest in a case without a cover this is an awesome choice. Plus with the rubber it is easy to grip and does not slide easily out of your hands! Overall I would buy this again and recommend to anyone else to buy this too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars literally lives up to the name *by A***T on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2014* I love the case for what it was designed , I use my note 8 as portable music and photo album , connected via Bluetooth with my car , keep my notes in it and pretty much what its meant to do as small screen PCIts a well thought and designed product , love the way the speaker ports direct sound from back to front and kind of amplify itAs all the stuff goes there is always room for improvementAs it is I would have liked a little more room to swipe from outer edges , I have big fingers and its sometimes hard to use swipe from out of lcd area or from bezel like for charms bar and closing applications , the case stops ur finger from going out of screen to bezel and perform these windows 8 features , its only issue if u have big fingers but should get used to ipretty soon . just takes some time to learn the techniqueA little weight reduction would be good , but I would suggest a completely new sister case to this with less overall coverage for for aesthetic appeal and light weight and most people don't use it rough enuf to utilize this caseAnd lastly , its quite firm and easy to stretch and put on at same time and lovely to hold but u will feel the weight if hold up for long time , using both hands or support from table is niceAll in all worth the buy if as name suggests ruggedness is ur demand ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars It is Rugged as Advertised *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2014* This case is exactly as advertised.
