I have 3 BHK flat. Initially I had kept this on desk table 90 cm above ground. I was getting very good signal. Now I have mounted it on ceiling . After this I started getting excellent signal strength even in hall. You get better signal across two or three walls. But avoid more column when device transmits the signal. Overall product is top class. It’s worth money spent. Review: Okay for wired backhaul/connection - It works well if you have a wired connection between access points. If you have a wireless connection between your access points, your speed will be decreased drastically. On most of my devices, I was getting <100mbs for a 400mbps connection. The range is just okay (don't expect a lot from it) ## Features - Wireless ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B016K5A06C | | Antenna Location | Home, Small Office | | Best Sellers Rank | #138,207 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) #121 in Wireless Access Points | | Brand | Ubiquiti Networks | | Brand Name | Ubiquiti Networks | | Colour | white | | Compatible Devices | Laptop | | Connectivity Protocol | Wi-Fi | | Connectivity Range | 183 Square Meters | | Connectivity Technology | Wi-Fi | | Controller Type | Switch | | Coverage | 183 square meters | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 3,312 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 1000 Megabits Per Second | | Frequency | 5 GHz | | Frequency Band Class | Dual-Band | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00810354023507 | | Is Electric | Yes | | Is Modem Compatible | No | | Item Weight Unit of Measure | 8.47 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Ubiquiti Networks | | Manufacturer Part Number | UAP-AC-LR | | Maximum Upstream Data Transfer Rate | 867 Megabits Per Second | | Model Name | UAP-AC-LR | | Model Number | UAP-AC-LR | | Number of Ports | 1 | | Operating System | RouterOS | | Recommended Uses For Product | Home, Small Office | | UPC | 793198433780 810354023507 | | Voltage | 24 Volts | | Wi-Fi Generation | Wi-Fi 5 | | Wireless Communication Standard | 802.11ac | | Wireless Compability | 802.11ac | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ubiquiti Networks - **Compatible Devices:** Laptop - **Frequency Band Class:** Dual-Band - **Model Name:** UAP-AC-LR - **Wireless Communication Standard:** 802.11ac ## Images ![UAP AC LR - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ta011QBfS.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent enterprise grade product for home use *by A***R on 2 June 2019* Excellent product.
