This ESEE model includes a Kydex Molded Sheath with Clip Plate. Care/Maintenance: ESEE carbon steel knives are made from 1095. 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for – especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH. ## Features - Overall Length: 8.88", Cutting Edge Length: 4.13" - Overall Blade Length: 4.38", Maximum Thickness: .188" - 1095 High Carbon Steel, 55 - 57 Rc., Grey Canvas Micarta - Weight: 7.7 oz (knife only) - Sheath: Brown Leather, Right Hand Carry ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Age Range Description | Adult | | Asin | B07B4MJ6V2 | | Best Sellers Rank | #199,515 in Sports & Outdoors (See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors) #647 in Fixed Blade Hunting Knives | | Blade Edge | Plain Edge, Flat Grind | | Blade Length | 4.38 inches | | Blade Material | Carbon Steel | | Blade Shape | Drop Point | | Blade Type | Fixed | | Brand Name | ESEE | | Color | Brown Leather Sheath | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (84) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00811328024902 | | Hand Orientation | Right Hand | | Handle Material | Canvas Micarta | | Included Components | Knife, Sheath | | Item Length | 8.88 inches | | Item Shape | linear | | Item Type Name | Esee Knives, ESEE-4, Plain Edge, Modified Micarta Handles, Brown Leather Sheath | | Item Weight | 7.68 ounces | | Manufacturer | ESEE | | Model Name | ESEE-4HM-B | | Model Number | ESEE-4HM-B | | Number Of Items | 2 | | Part Number | ESEE-4HM-B | | Power Source | Manual | | Product Care Instructions | Will corrode if not cleaned and oiled regularly. | | Recommended Uses For Product | Carving | | Reusability | Reusable | | Set Name | ESEE-4 | | Size | One Size | | Special Features | Full Tang, Lanyard Hole, Custom Sheath | | Style | Classic | | Theme | Traditional | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 811328024902 | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** Carbon Steel - **Brand:** ESEE - **Color:** Brown Leather Sheath - **Handle Material:** Canvas Micarta - **Included Components:** Knife, Sheath - **Model Name:** ESEE-4HM-B - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Carving - **Special Feature:** Full Tang, Lanyard Hole, Custom Sheath - **Style:** Classic ## Images ![ESEE Authentic Model 4HM Fixed Blade Knife, Black Powder Blade, Micarta Handle, Leather Sheath - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61WtdIS+0OL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great knife *by on Reviewed in the United States October 16, 2022* I love this knife. I've been carrying it as my EDC for 6 months and it has not disappointed me at all. It came pretty sharp out of the box but I tuned it up more myself, it gets shaving sharp and holds that edge for awhile. It's also very slicey for being a thicker blade. The handle is very comfortable in any position I hold it and the micarta scales are super grippy. I made my own sheath for a more comfortable EDC and also dyed the handle scales. This was my first ESEE but definitely will not be my last, they make a great knife and their warranty can't be beat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice knife *by on Reviewed in the United States July 29, 2024* Great knife plus a leather sheath, if you are a collector, this is one for your collection, if you are an outdoor, camping and hunting person, it is a great knife, highly recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Knives *by on Reviewed in the United States January 31, 2025* Husband loves this knife bought second one for our son ## Frequently Bought Together - ESEE Authentic Model 4HM Fixed Blade Knife, Black Powder Blade, Micarta Handle, Leather Sheath - Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener, Compact Travel Hunting Knife Sharpener Tool - UltiClip Slim 3.3 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/85473085-esee-authentic-model-4hm-fixed-blade-knife-black-powder-blade](https://www.desertcart.at/products/85473085-esee-authentic-model-4hm-fixed-blade-knife-black-powder-blade) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
