So i'm guessing no, but great machine. I've had mine a year **Q: does it make big cubes** A: It make 2 sizes. I would say neither size is what i would say is big **Q: How do you drain the container?** A: There is a little plug under the front of the machine to drain it so perfect for cleaning! **Q: How is water connected to the machine?** A: This is one of the best 'gadgets' we have purchased in 52 years. It is not connected to the mains water. We keep ours in the garage next to the freezer. We pour 2L of water into the device and walk away, leaving it to do its thing. As the cubes of ice fill the basket (you have a choice of two sizes of cubes) the machine stops action allowing you to fill a freezer bag and placing the bag straight into the freezer. Close the lid and it starts the process again automatically until all the water has been used. If you need more ice, you fill with the 2L again.
