Review: Does what it says....... - Took a chance on this item and was pleasantly surprised when it worked as advertised. We have an evaporative humidifier by the bed which works well but is terribly difficult to see how full it is when adding water. I taped the sensor to the side of the plastic reservoir at the 'full' level. Now when adding water, we just turn on the sensor and watch for the red LED on the sensor to turn on.......... reservoir full! Simple now. I used a small plastic box, 9v battery and small toggle (On-Off) switch. I had to adjust the Sensitivity screw on the sensor until it sensed the water level properly.
Review: Works as advertised. - The sensor absolutely worked, but it would not pass enough current to activate a thin 24v Allen Bradley Relay card. Then I accidentally shorted it out while testing and ruined it. If you want it to work a relay, order one that is triggered with a Mosfet. Those are cheap and available on desertcart also.

**Q: What is the type of power source to use with this sensor**
A: Which one is it?  The notes above say that it is 5-12 dc.  Here you say it’s 24 Vic.

**Q: Will this detect tap water level in a plastic tank?**
A: Yes. I use it with a relay to control the max fill level in a large plastic tank that is approximately 6 mm thick.

**Q: Using this on a pvc line.  Working, but sometimes i am getting fluctuations of on/off depending on the flow/pressure of water in the line.  How to fix**
A: you should have better luck if you set to on at the low flow of the line .

**Q: How do i turn on a small indicator led with this? i want the led to go on when fluid is low.**

Took a chance on this item and was pleasantly surprised when it worked as advertised. Item refused to work as described and documented in the instructions. It required another ground lead into the liquid to make it work marginally but not reliably. Tested it multiple ways. Ended up tossing it in the trash.
