I use them in my drive way on the posts for my drive way gates. I drive a mini van. My drive way is just wide enough for access. The drive way is situated that I have to drive front end in and then reverse to back out but subject to colliding the rear of the side panel of the vehicle up against the gate posts which did happen. That cost me $1,200 to repair. Once I bought these foam protectors.....Problem solved! They were easy to install. The adhesive is literally unbelievably durable. They have been installed outdoors for about a few years and so far has been holding up pretty good through the winters and summers.
