A few things to note.1. You need a guideline if you are going across a wide space because they are heavy.2. it's easiest to use the zip ties provided.3. THEYRE HECKING BRIGHT. I threaded them across my garden and forgot I left them on--came back and they were SO BRIGHT it was like I had flood lights on my yard. You could probably have read a book by them at 11pm. So, yeah. Very bright.4. Can't speak much to the long term durability but will note that we used a 1/8" metal cable as a guidewire and in threading them on to it, the hanging eyelet got very degraded. The have a great drop to them and look awesome at night. As an EE. I placed water tight closures on dead end however everything works well. No issue with any of the lights and/or brightness.Texas heat, the lights continue to work. Bulbs seat into a gasket so it would keep out rain. Mine are in the lanai so it's not necessary but a great feature. Seems very bright since each LED bulb is only 2w. It can also take incandescence bulbs up to the recommended wattage. But no need for that with great low watt LED.Even gives 2 spare bulbs. There's a fuse in the plug just in case.
