It caused my vehicle to shutdown and have to be reset to be driven again. Always check with the company tuner is from to see if it will work before wasting your money. Amazon just double check this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth spending you hard earned cash on. *by P***T on October 13, 2016* Cool device. Updated off the web, and was tuning shortly after. Has 5 or so stages or different tunes. Selected sport 87 tune and it sure did a nice job of waking up my 3L V6 Ranger. Fixed many of the standing issues I felt the truck had. Sure did make the transmission shift like a much newer truck. I use this same tuner for my Tahoe and I ran the sport performance 91 tune, then the sport 87 tune, then I tried the economy tune and WOW, the economy tune was the way to go. Compared to stock and the two tunes that offered more power the economy tune made my Tahoe brilliant. It has plenty of power, it was the transmission that changed a ton. With the economy tune the shift pressure is much lower so the hard quick shifts are gone and instead there is a nice, quiet, smooth, soft shift that is pleasant to experience. The shift points are also much more user friendly and applicable. Where the stock and two performance tunes seemed to always be in the wrong gear, especially at low speeds, it would hold on to higher gears when it should have bucked down a gear. I was always manually shifting my Tahoe to the correct gear. I have not yet tried the economy tune with the Ford, it does not pound the gears like the Chevy so I am in no rush. Plus I like the extra punch I got from the performance tune. These AutoMind tuners are not cheap, but the results I have to say sure seem like it was money well spent. ### ⭐⭐⭐ it works, it did what I needed, but ... *by M***G on February 23, 2016* it works, it did what I needed, but it wouldn't work on my computer to get updates, you cant change shift points or anything else dealing with your trany.
