## Description

One (1) Switchcraft SHORT straight 3-way toggle switch. Comes with knurled nut. (Genuine Switchcraft Black tip is included) Part is USA-made. Note: Switchcraft pre-tins all lugs at the factory, that is the trace solder you see on the lugs. This part requires 1/2" diameter hole for mounting. The Switchcraft toggle switch comes with a flat nut, depending on the thickness of the top of the guitar, you made need the "vintage-style" deep nut, which you would need to purchase separately.

**Q: will this fit a first act garage master electric ?**
A: I’m not familiar with that model of guitar.  I have my switch mounted to the pickguard of a fender mustang.   If your replacing a switch in a les Paul style guitar you may need the long frame version.   Hope that helps.

A: It will sit happily at the bottom.

**Q: Can this switch be used as a killswitch ?**
A: You can use this specific switch as a kill switch if you have 2 volume controls (1 for each pickup). You put the switch in the 'middle' position and this produces sound from both pickups - but at this point you turn one of the volume knobs completely off, and you rapidly move the switch between the middle switch position and the switch position related to the pickup that is turned off. In this way you move the switch from the middle to the turned off pickup position, and then move the switch back to the middle. This cuts the guitar output just like a kill switch. Because this is a very high quality switch you can expect it to work reasonably well as a kill switch. This is commonly used as a kill switch technique. A dedicated push button kill switch of high quality might be capable of faster stucatto and it might be quieter. Static in the kill switch can cause a problem by making loud crackling sounds. Static in the switch can spoil the effect of using the 3 way switch as a kill switch. You want a quiet acting kill switch. Not a sloppy connection with static.Switchcraft might make a high quality dedicated kill switch. Switches are often 'noisy'.

A: Yes but remove the old switch and compare dimensions.
