It has many layers to study and for a reader to incorporate in her/his readings. I didn't like the card stock in the sense that it started to chip within 2 days of me receiving the deck. The backs of the cards started chipping and this doesn't happen despite shuffling the decks many times. So this was a disappointment for me. The overall card stock is Matt and feels good in the hand and it's easy to shuffle. The product arrived on time and in good condition. Thank you Amazon. The cards though based on Rider Waite are named differently following the forest theme. Even the minor arcana suits are called arrows, bows, vessels and stones. These suits have images of wild animals and birds. What I liked the most is that the minor arcana cards have a descriptive word on it that helps beginners to interpret the card at a glance without referring to the guide book. And speaking of the book that accompanied the deck, it is elaborately descriptive and takes you into the forest realm.
