They make really clean cuts on small wires and component leads, which is exactly what I wanted for PCB work. I’ve been using them on softer metals like copper leads and small-ish gauge wire and they handle that perfectly. That said, these are definitely not meant for heavy-duty cutting. If you try to use them on thicker pins or harder metals (like some beefy controller board pins), you’re going to dull them out pretty quickly.
