A: Hello, it depends on your car USB socket has 1A output or not.

**Q: What is the rated continuous current output of this device using a 3a usb wall charger?**
A: I am using a 5amp plug charger and Alexa cuts out when the volume is raised so can see the 3 amp going past half way on the volume before it cuts out

**Q: Can i run my echo dot 3rd gen in the car with this cable?**
A: Yes, you can use mobile battery to charge up and connect to the echo dot 3rd, or your car having USB power port as well.

**Q: Do you have a plug connector with 5.5mm x 2.5mm and is it 3A compatible?**
A: I use this for my Echo Dot.
Yes the USB needs to be 3A or more to run it right, you might find it cuts out otherwise
