When refunding the clock, company requires you to pay return postage, then when it is received, the company does not refund your full amount as stated, but deducts again a restock fee. The digits are tall enough for me to see without my glasses from across the room. If all you need is a bright, clear, easy-to-read display of the time, then this is a five-star device. If you want to use the alarm feature, it falls flat. Even if you're not changing the time of the alarm, you have to press five different buttons on the remote to turn the alarm on. From the dawn of alarm clocks, turning on the alarm has always been one button or switch. Other setting are equally clunky. One bright spot is the direct digital entry of certain settings: no need to click up or down to get to a number, just enter the number on the remote. I'm hoping to connect this big, beautiful display to a digital alarm clock that has convenient controls.
