It also will stain concrete. It will also stain dog feet! No, there was no chemical in the water when I did any of this, it was just the Blue Turf Mark. I just got the sprayer hooked up to my new lawn tractor and was experimenting with the color, flow rate, etc. I found that it also stains the bare feet of my 4 year old grandson! First and foremost, having the ability to measure the product with the little squeeze chamber is critical for a dye like this, and if you look at other indicator products, the most common negative is from staining issues. With this product, I had no issues spilling it on myself, my clothes, or my driveway. Mixed well with a cocktail of ingredients, and provide a nice blue that was definitely easy to see on my mostly-dormant grass. It was almost nice, because the next day it had faded in a bit and combined with the lime green grass just waking up, it almost looked like an early summer green just coming out of winter. Anyway, it does the job you want it to. No, it won't make your lawn look like a smurf, but it's enough of an indicator to show where the spray is landing.
