What won me over was the notch for my glasses.I sewed my own patch on the back of them, and have a stealth maxpedition flag on the front. They work great with my glasses.However there is a lot of room and the cap looks really tall on my head. I ordered multiple hats at the same time from different sellers - Milspec Monkey, Condor, Tru-spec, and Notch and these notch hats were the only ones that had that awkward space between my head and the cap itself. Still a great hat, but pretty much the only thing it has going on is the notch for glasses. These hats don't work with all glasses. Neither my Rayban new wayfarers nor my Rayban small rectangular regular glasses fit into the notches. I literally would have had to have had my glasses pushed so far into my face that my eyeballs would be pressed on the lenses to fit my glasses frames into the notches.
