It is bright and works exactly like I need. It is all plastic, not a glass shade, but you can't tell by looking at it and it doesn't affect its function. Two issues you should be aware of: 1) The motion sensor works as described. It is very, very sensitive and works through a solid wooden door. This can be a problem if you install it near where you sleep, even inside a closet because it will turn on with the slightest movement. Alternatively, if you install it somewhere that you want to be sure it will turn on from any movement, this will absolutely do it. 2) Mine came with a blue, brown and yellow wire. They were marked with letters but no description telling you which was the hot wire. I had to guess which wires to attach and my initial installation forced the light to remain on all of the time. I switched wires and it worked as described. I found that the blue wire should be hooked to a hot US red or black wire and the brown wire should be hooked to a US white wire. The yellow wire is a ground wire. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Movement Detection is not Great *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2019* We used this in our kitchen. Before this we had a similar motion light from a different company that we loved and assumed all motion lights worked more or less the same. That light stopped working so we tried this one which looked ideal. The light it gives off is fine, but the motion sensing was not great and we ended up uninstalling it and installing a plain old light without motion sensors instead.If you have a large open space and are looking for a motion sensing light that is somewhat finicky, this light isn't bad, but there are probably better options. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Sensor works, nothing else as described *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2019* I'm giving it 2 stars because besides the motion detection and the ok brightness, nothing else was good. The installation was difficult due to the design. The base has to be secured to the celeing first, then the light base has to get twisted on the celeing base blindly. Other lights allow you to secure the light base with screw holes through the base, so you can see what you're doing. The description of warm white is totally wrong, it's a yellow light.
