When I got this album I was so excited to listen to it. I will admit, at first listen I wasn't quite sure about what I thought of the album. Of course with all music, especially by an artist you love, give their music a chance and give it time. After a couple listenings of mbv it just kept growing on me. I find it particularly comforting because it makes me think of Loveless, but at the same time it is completely different and has a "newer" sound to it, so they aren't just mimicking their past and putting it on a new record, I think the sound is similar but fresh for them. Anyways, listening to the album now and it is always just fantastic. Any slight fan of My Bloody Valentine should pick it up. Record sounds great too. Review: A great follow-up to Loveless. - MBV's comeback album is just as good as their previous records. It has a different vibe, it's a bit more modern, yet overall the tones and textures will instantly remind you of the band that took a vacation after Loveless. This one is fairly cohesive all the way through. The sounds are a bit different, and though it doesn't always hit that Loveless quality, it has good dynamics and sounds really good overall. It's definitely up there with Isn't Anything for their second best LP. I would not hesitate to buy this one and support the band.
