Would not even get to a boot screen... just a blank, black screen, mocking me. I tried using a Windows boot disk and no cooperation.. just that unfeeling black screen. Just before losing all hope and doing a dreaded format disc and OS install I happened upon this piece of software. Being such a decent price and really having nothing to lose I ordered it up. After putting it in the CD drive and miracle happened. The computer not only booted directly into windows... it finished the update and everything is just how I left it.
