Drawtex Levafiber Hydroconductive Dressing 6" x 8" [Box of 10]: Non-adherent contact layer allows free flow of drainage, protects wound site and does not adhere to granulation tissue. Comfortable bandage all in one. Provides protection from the external environment. Ideal for minor cuts, abrasions, small scalds and burns. Helps support healing by protecting wounds and absorbing drainage while allowing skin to breathe, thus reducing the potential for maceration around wound edges. Without latex, it protects the wound from infection and trauma. The unique, thin film conforms to the body and flexes with the skin for greater patient comfort. Facilitate moist wound healing and autolytic debridement. Protect the wound bed from external contamination. Excellent alternative to gauze and tape. The breathable film allows the exchange of moisture vapor and oxygen. Provides a moist environment to enhance wound healing.

This product is what I was introduced to at my wound care specialty center. It regulates and absorbs excess moisture so that wounds are not too wet. It helps to prevent the good skin around the wound from being too wet and dissolving, making the wound larger...and larger. Does not burn or sting. Has made terrific progress possible for me. Sterile, wrapped nicely. Can be cut to size as well.
