I ordered black, it came mahogany. The countertop says it’s solid beechwood, it’s particle board. There is no metal frame for safety, it’s made of thin pine, if you move it the wrong way a bit when assembling it, it literally cracks. Some of the pilot holes they’re not quite straight and when the screws go in it cracks. An excellent handyman assembled ours, and was very disappointed with the quality of this product, and had difficulty because of its fragile state, I can’t imagine someone assembling it with no experience.
