At Crusader, we are on a quest for the best of the best of everything in our products. We found that many common lubricants are just not as slick as we wished. We wanted… ‘The Best‘. Being former Military, our old stand-by gun care product was a three in one jack of all trade that just didn't really do anything perfectly. Cleaning, Lubricating, and Protecting... well, those three missions just do not work out well with one substance. looking at other products, some had us wondering: “Our gun metal needs a Conditioner? Isn't that what our wives use in their hair?” A firearm is a machine, and a machine needs good lubrication. The best lubricants are synthetic based, not the mineral oil base commonly used in ‘Gun Oil‘. We came up with our own 2 Part System. We discovered a synthetic oil that has fantastic lubrication properties, and as a side effect, offers great corrosion protection. Now… this would be good enough on it's own, but we took it a step farther. We found a nano-lubricant that is the slickest stuff on the planet, and works perfectly well with gun metal and the polymers used in modern weapons. This nano-lubricant is the heart of our product and the oil is simply the carrier for it. When combined with our oil, it lowers the coefficient of friction so dramatically that the results have been shocking. We gave a sample of our oil to a Military Officer who tested the product in his weapon in dusty conditions. He fired 4419 rounds without a weapon malfunction and without cleaning. His response was enthusiastic. He said "It was like a 'slipstream' between the moving parts" and that's how we got the name. Slipstream offers: enhanced lubrication, smoother action, increased longevity, and increased reliability, while giving superior corrosion resistance. No other weapon lubricant reduces friction like Slipstream. Nothing on the market works as well as Slipstream, period.

I use their grease on bolt action lugs with a thin coating on the bolt, works great.
Review: Been using the same bottle since 2013 with GREAT results and ZERO problems - I've read some negative reviews on here, and I have not experienced ANY of the problems the reviewers are reporting. Perhaps the company changed the formula since MY bottle (which reads "STYX" and came straight from Crusader Weaponry). But I use this on my high-end 1911's, which have the tightest slide-to-frame fit of any pistol out there. If ANY gun was going to exhibit a failure from bad lubricant, it would be these...and again, I have had zero issues with Slipstream. Yes, the graphite nano particles separate from the carrier solution when its sits, but that's why there is a ball bearing in the bottle...you have to mix it WELL before you use it. The same thing happens with Teflon-based lubricants like CLP. They separate and must be shaken well before use. I'm guessing the folks complaining about the Slipstream are putting WAY too much product on their guns, as I have NEVER found any "dried gunk" in over 7 years of using this product. You only need to put a tiny amount on the high-friction points of contact. I apply only one drop on the rails and use a tiny paintbrush to evenly coat. With that said, I have NOT purchase the product being sold on desertcart. The Crusader Weaponry company website is now defunct, and their phone number does not go to a company voicemail, so I'm not sure who is selling this product on desertcart or if its even legit...but the Slipstream STYX that I have is awesome!!

Excellent product. Smooths out overall function, I don't clean my pistols as often as most people do, but mine always stay lubed and in excellent working condition. I use their grease on bolt action lugs with a thin coating on the bolt, works great.

Recommended by Larry Correia, and man was he right. I like this stuff. Been using on multiple weapons, just a drop or two here or there. Moves like butter after that. Used some on a repair/rebuild of some very maligned and mistreated WWII era rifles and it was a huge help to get them back to a shootable and buyable condition.
