Back it well, sweep out any loose dirt, and then squeeze a good amount, you want to stick the tip down in there and then fill it so that it is mounded slightly up above the level of the driveway, and then just keep going until you finish the whole crack, and when you come back, it should have settled slightly and you just scrape a putty knife across it and call it a day. one box should fill 3-4 deep cracks that run the width of a driveway, if you do this. If the crack is small, this stuff is too thick to go into the crack, and you end up just covering the top (which isn't good).
