There is a trick to it that took me a couple of days to figure out. But, I don't recall what the trick is. Be patient and you'll get. Or, by two and then you can break the 1st one and figure it out. **Q: Can this switch be used as an on/off switch?** A: For just a on/off switch NO!!! If using with a relay or contactor, yes but will have to a seal in circuit to bypass the start button **Q: How much pressure is needed to press the off button for a cutoff application please?** A: Very little pressure. The circuit for the ”stop” or “off” is wired through the normally closed button (the red one). That being said, the switch only needs to travel just enough to open or “break” the internal contacts, which is generally less than half way.
