**Q: Does this have a backer board inside the flat side?**
A: Yes it has backer board. It is firm on the backside and cushioned on top. Very well made.

**Q: Soooo.. The body of the text says it is made in the US but the product description says origin China.. Which is it?**
A: Mine says made in the USA

**Q: what is cross-fitting**
A: Cross Fit is a face paced work out that works multiple areas of the body through targetrd work outs I.e. abs, thighs, calves, upper body. Pretty intense but only about 30-40 minutes needed

**Q: is this really hard because i need to be able to press into it? and it not give?**
A: It is medium to firm.  Not hard.  It has a little give to it.

I had heard great things about the Abmat but am usually the last one to believe the hype. I work out often and can do countless situps so I really didn't think this would do anything for me. I was wrong. The Abmat fits perfectly in the small of your back to get complete abdominal extension and lower back support. Sure, you could get the same effects from several other products...but they cost WAY more. The Abmat is awesome and I use it every day. Constructed well and had grip strips on the bottom so it will not slide while you exercise. It also comes with a workout plan for beginners.
