A: I have not made silver from scratch, but I have purchased a silver glitter mirror glaze from Pastry Chef Central.

A: It should come off fairly easily, but if not, use pliers.
Once the cap is off, you'll need to snip the pointer with scissors.

If you are looking for a great icing, that dries smooth and within about an hour, the brand is perfect.
