You can brighten or dim the brightness on the clock to your specification. It wasn’t the easiest clock to initially find out how to use with the instructions provided, but after going to YouTube to watch a video on how to use it, it was a lot easier to set up. I would suggest doing that for an easy set up.Came with mounts for the wall but no screws so you’ll need to buy some larger screws or a washer and a normal sized screw for your wall.Overall really great and my husband has enjoyed it a lot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I WENT WITH THE MID SIZE (1.8) *by F***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2020* I knew I wanted to get the timer I just was not sure what size. So after reading reviews I decided to go with the mid size. Note there where not any reviews on the mid at the time I brought. I have a two car garage which I turned into a gym. The 1.8 is the perfect size to me. I can see the numbers well from outside the garage.The installation was easy. It came with all of the tools with how to do. As far as the programming and setup it is so easy it is complicated...lol I found myself reading into the directions. Notes on programming:Clock - when inputting numbers it is hour, minutes and seconds. Also note that must input in 24 hour format. So if it is 2:45pm input is 144500. If its 2:45 am it is 024500. The first two numbers are hour, second two minutes and last two seconds.Intervals- use a number (0-9) on remote. Use A1 button to input the workout time then hit enter. Use A2 button to input rest time then hit enter. (Note input on these times are minutes and seconds) Then use A3 button to input rounds (max is 99). F1,F2 and F3 are preset intervals to include one being tabata basedThis timer is great. The ONLY thing that I think that it could use is a louder buzzer with volume control to adjust. I find the buzzer to be low. Yet I must admit I play music a bit loud.Overall I find this a great timer and would recommend this.
