**Q: I need to see subtle differences in colors accurately to match fabrics. Will this "natural white" meet the need? Is it comparable to OttLite, etc.?**
A: I would not recommend it for your use.  I measured the correlated color temperature (CCT) at around 5400 K (using a spectrum analyzer), but it's shifted a bit toward green.  If you want accurate color you need a light source with a high Color Rendering Index (CRI).  There are LED light sources that have high CRI but this isn't one of them.

**Q: can you change the color temperature of the light from more blue to more yellow?**

**Q: How long is the cord?**
A: 6' long cord. Has a brick style power inverter plug and the other end plugs into the lamp base. Since the lamp is DC powered, the cord is about 3.4mm diameter thickness.

**Q: If left on, will this work/turn back on with a timer switch or something like an Aleaa smart plug.? Most need to press on button again.**
A: You need manually touch the power button and manually turn it back on. It's not compatible with smart plug yet.
