I turned the pump down a notch from its recommended setting, and now it works fine--looks exactly as pictured. The pump motor is audible if you're close to the fountain, but you don't hear it at all from a few feet way. My only substantial complaint is the the LED light to illuminate the statue: the light is somewhat harsh and tacky.
