I like a long strap and this one when open all the way, fits on my hip. For me that’s perfect. **Q: How would you use the strap while wearing a backpack since the rubber will get caught? Or would getting something like the Leash be more appropriate?** A: When using a back pack I usually put the back pack on first then throw the sling+camera normally on my neck/shoulder **Q: Does the strap ride up on your neck? Also, does it get uncomfortable (for your shoulder, neck, etc.) if worn for extended periods of time?** A: No, the strap has grips on it that do a fantastic job of keeping it in place. I don’t find it uncomfortable after a full day of wearing it with a 24-70 as my main lens. **Q: I have a rigged bmpcc4k with a heavy lens and battery. I’m not attempting to carry around neck but want added security. Anyone have a similar setup?** A: I have used this strap extensively in National Parks: Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce and Zion. It work very well. It's very strong, easy to adjust and remove from the camera when on a tripod. I'm very glad I bought it. I would have no fear using it with a very large lens. One side of the neck portion is smooth to allow a swing up from a side carry and the other side has rubberized grabbers if you shoulder carry.
