I do it quite often. The only thing I'd be wary of is some teas --opening the pod gives you dust and no w ay to control it. So brew teas the way suggested on pkg. **Q: how big is it?** A: Measurements for Salton’s one cup coffee maker model FC1205: H 8¾” x L 5½” x D 6” **Q: How long does the base stay hot after brewing?** A: Salton’s space saving 1 cup coffee maker model FC1205 is not equipped with a keep warm feature. Once brewed, the beverage should be consumed immediately. **Q: Hi. How many ounces does the water-tank hold? Thanks** A: Roughly 8. Usually one standard coffee cups worth. ## Frequently Bought Together - Salton 1 Cup Mini Compact Drip Coffee Maker, 10 Oz, Black - Melitta 620122 Size 1 Natural Brown Coffee Filters, 40 Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/9886198-salton-1-cup-mini-compact-drip-coffee-maker-with-reusable](https://www.desertcart.at/products/9886198-salton-1-cup-mini-compact-drip-coffee-maker-with-reusable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
