The LS3 provides passive switching of three stereo outputs from a single stereo source. Or as a source selector any of three stereo sources to a single stereo output. As a speaker selector, you can select multiple outputs simultaneously. An excellent tool for isolating your subwoofer or using it with multiple pairs of speakers. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used to connect two separate audio interfaces to a single set of monitors?**
A: yes, it's called the 3 In 1 Out configuration, plug your interfaces into each of the individual stereo input jacks (1, 2 or 3) and your monitors into the remaining stereo jack.  Just make sure that your connections are either all 1/4" balanced connections (TRS) or 1/4" unbalanced connections (TS) from and to your sources.

There are really only 2 products of it's kind on the markert - and this is the one that DOESN'T cause massive amounts of static in your speakers. I was suffering from a small amount of monitor static relative to using direct inputs, but that disappeared when I turned off my overhead lighting.
