This was the first time I tried a ratchet belt。Very easy to adjust on the fly. Its nice haivng an exact fit belt, instead of relying on poorly spaced holes that dont allow quite as much customization in my case I bought it for myself. The belt long enough so you can cut it down to any size to fit you then the buckle snap in real tight with an aligator like clip, and then you can slide the other end through the buckle and pull until the lever catch the right notch inside the belt and hold so there are no holes to punch. A release latch from the buckle to press and release the belt when done, really convenience especially after lunches or diners when you need to release a few notches to breath :-)Anyway, for practical, convenient, and good price, I like it!. Most of my normal belts would end up failing around the buckle after a couple of months of use. These "click" belts solve that problem. They are really easy to put on and take off. The buckle is probably a little heavier than your "normal" belts, but not so heavy as to be a problem. The only caution I would share is that most of these belts claim they will fit a 28" to 42" waist, which is probably true. I have a 32 inch waist and pulling it into a comfortable position created a long length of belt that looked terrible. You can easily trim off excess length and I did that. However, now when I pull my belt into a comfortable position, I can only pull it "two or three" clicks. Not a problem for me, but just a caution for those of you with a 28 to 30 inch waist.
