The curry was packaged 10/2013 and has an expiration date of 9/2016. Although I take the expiration date as a sell by date. The last curry powder I had expired 18 months before I finished using it. The new curry tasted the same to me. **Q: Is this product gluten-free?** A: The ingredients are: Coriander Seeds, Turmeric, Chillies, Cumin Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds, Fennel Seeds, Trifala & Nagkeser (Fragrant Spices), Cloves, Cassia, Garlic, Curry Leaves and Salt. **Q: Is this hot?** A: Heat is quite individual taste. My assessment is that it is mild to medium. One member in our home can not eat hot stuff. So when I use this, I add no additional red or black peppers.
