Let's face it the Ronin S is a tad of the heavy side, especially on all day shoots. And I was just about to sell it but then I saw a video on this handle. This handle solves two major issues I had with the S. 1) The weight distribution. With this handle it makes it like a Ronin M hybrid. Or like the Zhiyun Crane. I can literally film holding the S like a flashlight now. Less stress on my back. And 2). It has a hot shoe on it which brings the monitor closet to my eyes and dead center instead of off to the left or right depending on which side you mount it on. There's definitely pricier ones but you can't beat this price point. Honestly this makes my Ronin S feel like a whole new gimbal. Just get it and thank me later. Review: Almost Perfect. But can be made perfect with small effort. - Almost perfect. The reason I dont give it 5 stars are the following: It should have a built in 1/4-20 hole on top next to the Cold shoe mount or have a NATO Rail top . The next, is for the FEIYUTECH A2000. there is a 1/4-20 hole where the clamp hinge sits, the rubber has to be trimmed off about a 1/16" on both sides to clear it, if you dont it will put excess pressure on the hinge and risk hinge failute and crossthreading the clamp during installation. With that said, I drilled my own hole and added a NATO top rail, and trimmed the rubber and I love it.
