Space saver, good quality, and fun to put together.
These work really well and save precious space on the pedal board. I bought them as extras as I didn't think there were enough in the kit with the wire. Turns out I don't need them right now. Being new at this I found myself confused with polarity. Unfortunately, there are absolutely no instructions with the kit or the extra ends. It made sense, observing how the connectors are made, that the red wire would go to the tip and the strands of outside wire would go to the barrel. But, at first I was thinking it should be the other way around. But I was right the first time. You need a good pair of SMALL wire strippers for the thin red wire. I got a pair at Radio Shack for about $10 and they worked fine on the red center wire and the outside insulation. Hitting the connecting tabs with some fine sand paper, as another reviewer suggested, is a good idea too. I found no need for shrink wrap if you plan your stripping fairly well. After the first few you'll get a system going and have custom length wires for your board. I checked continuity on all of my cables to make sure there were no wayward wires shorting out. You can get a cheap multimeter at places like Harbor Freight or Amazon. Just make sure they have a continuity function (I think they all pretty much do and a beeping one is better). Have Fun!

Good plugs
Inexpensive but fine plugs. Allows for tighter spacing on pedal boards than Neutrik or Switchcraft 1/4 " plugs.

Sturdy and easy to attach.
These seem to be good quality plugs. Very sturdy. I havenโt put them through much wear and tear yet, but they donโt seem like theyโll fail on me. Theyโre SLIGHTLY thicker than other pancake plugs, but not by much. Since these have a lug for the sleeve (instead of having to solder to the inside of the casing) the solder took no time at all to make a solid connection. However thereโs not much space to work in there, so you have to be pretty precise about the lengths of exposed wire/shielding/insulation/jacket/etc. And it took a steady hand to line the cover back up to screw it closed. But those are minor complaints, and the only ones I have. Otherwise Iโm completely satisfied with these.

Just As Good As Swtchcraft Plugs
These plugs are just as good as the Switchcrafts that I've used for decades. The price of Swichcraft plugs has skyrocketed so high that if you have need for a lot of them it can be VERY expensive. The GLS plugs are of equal quality at a fraction of the cost. Only thing is if you use a thick cable don't try to thread it in those tiny holes. But rather twist the wire strands together and tin the ends then put a little drop of solder on the plug terminal and solder them together. There you have it a strong reliable connection. I wired up a 13 pedal pedalboard with no problems at all and it sounds great. This is my new go to plug in the future.

Great product, great price
These plugs have solder tabs for both the signal and ground connections, which I prefer over those that only have the tab for the signal wire. The plugs fit standard jacks very well (some don't!), and the plugs have a good, sturdy feel to them. I expect them to last a long time. Great service, too. On time, exactly as described.

I wanted quality 1/4" right angle plugs and I got 'em!
I was growing sick and tired of needing a pedal cable of whatever length I needed and always having to settle for much too short or much too long! These plugs along with some quality cable solved that dilemma for me once and for all. Only had to employ some basic soldering skills, at which I am but a true amateur, and voila! I did have to utilize some heat-shrink tubing but that only makes sense anyway. My only wish is that the plugs were made here in the USA! Otherwise, it's a thumbs-up for me!

Thicker than Expected
The bodies of these connectors are thicker than I expected, minimizing the desired compactness of their design. These will work just fine on my pedal board, but I ordered flat right-angle connectors because that's what I wanted.

Cable size/gauge matters!
I wish the seller would have mentioned the type and size of cable these plugs will take. They are very wide at the mouth of the plug and need a thicker cable than normal otherwise the cable can easily rip from the plug even if it is screwed tightly and soldered.

Same as the other ones that are 7$ less
Seem to be decent quality, but no better than the ones that are a little cheaper. Bought both to find out if they were better.. lesson learned. Not Neutrick or Switchcraft quality, but not horrible either.
