Great camping tent for solo use or two cozy campers
I recently purchased a 13 ft Avalon to set up on my camping property. I realized once I have this larger tent set up I'm probably not going to want to take it down. So for a couple events this summer and while I prepared a tent pad for the Avalon I decided to pick up this smaller 8 ft regatta. Once you know what you're doing it sets up pretty quickly. Definitely faster than the 20 minutes they claim. I can do it in about 10 minutes easily. Just stake the perimeter, insert the poles and finish by staking out the guidelines. Construction seems very durable. I don't see any issues with the floor but I do put a tarp underneath it mainly just to protect it from punctures. Depending on how tightly you steak in front of the door it can be difficult to zip the bottom parts of the door completely closed. I really don't see it being an issue because there is enough overlap to prevent water from getting inside. As far as livable space is concerned I put a twin air bed inside mine. You can just fit one in between the sides or back of the tent and the pole. Leaving you with the other half of the tent to store your gear or whatever you want. While this tent would work for two people I think it would be very cozy. The center pole just limits the space inside but I think the extra headroom and ease of setup from this design is worth it. I feel that for the price this is a great tent to have if you are car camping and want something that is going to last you a long time as long as you take care of it. This is my first canvas tent. I've owned innumerable nylon tents over my lifetime and nylon invariably degrades from sunlight. Cotton canvas needs its own special care to keep away mildew and such. But I think for long-term durability and abrasion resistance it's a much better choice than nylon tents. Also nylon tents getting incredibly hot in the sun canvas is going to do a better job of keeping the tent cooler.

13' regatta bell tent
This 13' regatta bell tent was everything I was looking for in an all season tent for my wife and I to hit the woods any time. I received the tent after a minor shopping issue with the carrier but amazon quickly resolved the problem. The packing of the product was great and the carry bag is very nice. I was excited so I set up the tent in my yard and without looking at any directions, had the tent up in 20 minutes by myself. Very easy for me! Bonus! The canvas and stitching are top quality and the floor is great material and rugged. The stove jack was easy to cut and covers well when not in use. The tent stakes are heavy duty and anchor the tent down well. The tent poles are heavy duty and overall the floor space is fantastic. The water proofing is what it says it is. We love this tent and would recommend it 10x over. Thanks for a great product Whiteduck!

I have had the WHITEDUCK Regatta Canvas Bell Tent for about 10 months, and after multiple trips in varying weather conditions, I'm thoroughly impressed. Here's why: Four-Season Capability: I've used this tent in temperatures as low as -28 degrees, and it performed wonderfully. Whether you're planning a summer getaway or a winter adventure, this tent adapts to all seasons. Heating Options: The tent's compatibility with different heating sources, including folding camp stoves and propane heaters, ensures that you'll always be warm and cozy. I've tested both, and they kept the tent incredibly comfortable. Quality Construction: The craftsmanship of the WHITEDUCK Regatta is top-notch. The durable canvas, robust stitching, and quality zippers all reflect a high standard of construction that promises longevity. Space & Comfort: This bell tent offers an abundance of space, allowing for a luxurious camping experience. The design promotes airflow, yet retains heat when needed, creating a pleasant indoor climate. Setup: Though it's a sizable tent, the setup is straightforward. With a little practice, I found I could have it ready in no time. Appearance: Aesthetically, the tent is beautiful. It adds an elegant touch to the campsite, and the classic bell shape is both functional and visually appealing. Value: Considering the quality, performance, and versatility, the WHITEDUCK Regatta Canvas Bell Tent provides excellent value for the price. It's an investment that I expect will serve me well for many years to come. Summary: The WHITEDUCK Regatta Canvas Bell Tent is more than just a shelter; it's a home away from home. Very Durable- Perfect Tent- Highly Recommended
We've had this tent set up for a month now- the boys set it up in the backyard, very easy, stakes must have been upgraded because they're heavy-duty rebar and nothing outside of a tornado is moving that tent. It's a very rugged, durable, heavy canvas, well-made and stitched tent. The boys immediately moved their cots, TV, Sofa, rugs, and a bunch of other stuff into it and haven't left. It's seen 60 mph winds, blizzards, downpours, -20F, basically everything and it's a very solid and 100% dry tent that looks brand new. This thing is everything I hoped it would be. Downside is the weight. It's really heavy in the bag- like surprisingly heavy. A two-man job to move around with one man on each strap. Also even on a 60 degree sunny day you can tell the tent is a lot warmer, maybe 10-20 degrees warmer, inside. Not sure I'd want to be in it on a hot summer day but it is very well ventilated with 3 windows, roof vents and a large door. UPDATE: It now has about 90 days on it over the year+ we've had it. Set up is quick, tent still in great shape- like new. What surprises me about this tent is its ability to withstand the wind. Boys left it up with a week straight of 40-60 mph sustained winds (high wind warnings every day)- the tent handled it without any issue. I've never had tent that is even close to this one in terms of shedding high winds. Also still waterproof. I don't think you can make a better choice than this tent. UPDATE 2. The main ropes are connect to bungee loops. After a couple of years those get rotted out and need to be changed or your tent will fail in a heavy wind. We just tied some 550 paracord where the bungees were and it's fine. All stitching and tent still in great shape.

Great product, slow but sure support
Love the tent. Purchased Sept 2025. We have spent over a month camping the love the tent, solid design, ease of setup. Campers envy. We have used our wood stove for several weeks and the stove jack has worked perfectly. 4 Stars due to exceptionally slow response to email and online inquiry about the matching Flysheet cover that gives added rain protection. There was some confusion at Whiteduck about flysheet color options and after some education was sent to them (link to their own web site product color description) they verified that you can only get the flysheet in what they call "White" which is actually a very light beige with a pink hue and of course a beige that would match their Sandstone beige tent. See the images attached. First image shows us tenting at Three Lakes in Hiawatha National Forest. You can see how light colored the rainfly is. Not too offensive, just a different color. Second image closeup of the tent color. Third image is the REI and Whiteduck stickers on their rainfly. Fourth image shows a closeup of the "White" rainfly which is a light beige with pink hue. Interestinglly, even REI was unaware of the color variations and sold us what they thought was sandstone beige which was in fact "White" colored flysheet as verified by Whiteduck. The true Beige flysheet will be out of stock until mid Jan 2026.

Great tent
After almost 2 years of continuous setup: This is a great tent. It has done well in incredibly heavy rain, storms and even ashfall in Hawai'i. Now there are areas where the seems are slowly starting to give, but that is due to heavy UV exposure and tradewinds regularly pulling from all sides. It costs more than other belltents but well worth the price. If you can afford it, there will be no regrets.
