NGOSEW Bobbin Cover Plate Works with Many Singerr Sewing Machines

This is exactly the part I needed for my Singer Fashion Mate. The previous part broke, and wouldn't 'pop' out of the needle plate when I unlatched it, and this one works perfectly. The one that came on my machine had a white line drawn at the 1/4" seam allowance line, which I had been using for quilt piecing, and I was a little disappointed I Couldn't find one already marked, but I was able to pretty easily draw a line on mine where I wanted it. It's probably better that it's blank, in case you would have wanted that to be marked at a different place.

The bobbin covers that I just received fits in the machines perfect ! Just wish they were not so fragile. The piece that fits into the groove breaks off easily which is why I have to replace them. Once this piece breaks you can continue to use it however it is hard to remove from the bobbin case.

A tiny bit harder to snap in, but it works great. Lost my original on vacation and this is a good replacement.

When my cover broke and I found out that no one carries the replacement I was not happy. I just thought to look on Amazon as I have been lucky to find other things. I ordered this cover immediately and when I received it, it was a perfect fit. I was so happy that I have already ordered another one so it this new one breaks I have a replacement.

sewing machines are persnickety. Parts have to fit exactly, even something as mundane as a flat plastic plate. This solved our bobbin-popping-out-of-place problem quite nicely. *\o/*

(Wife replying) I have several Singer sewing machines and this is the part that always breaks on them. I order several at a time so I always have one when it breaks. I am very careful removing and replacing the bobbin cover but the plastic tab eventually breaks off and you can't use it after that happens. At least I can find the parts and they aren't too expensive.

The cover didn’t fit my machine, but when I went to return it it said it is not eligible to return. Nowhere on the site did I see that it was not eligible for return

At first I didn't think the plate was for my machine because it was too tight to fit. Then I remembered when I first bought the machine how tight the cover was. The cover did fit.
