The battery's last a long time, light weight, good quality, they're easy to change blades, and powerful.

I used the reciprocating saw and two batteries to take apart most of a two story tree that was falling apart in my yard. Light weight, easy to use and handle with one or both hands. I used a blade from a really old porter cable tiger cub saw that was longer than the blades that came with. The drill and impact drill are great. Haven't used the light much yet. I have been using Porter Cable tools for the last 30 some years. These are good tools.

Great tools. Battery life is not so good. By some bigger/better batteries, and you have a good set for the "extreme" DIYer. Professional grade? I'd say yes. Industrial grade, maybe not. For saws and impact drivers, get some 5Ah batteries. Great tools though.

I’m always nervous about shelling out cash for power tools. This set was affordable and durable. Works well for me as a homeowner and Dad fixing things around the house and putting together toys. Has also came in handy with several quarantine project like building our chicken coop. Doesn’t hurt either that most of my friends who are in construction also own it! Best Buy for your money!

Comparing to DEWALT: DeWalt: $179.99 1-charger/battery 1-drill 1-impact Porter Cable: Above PLUS Sawzall, extera battery, inspection light! About a $130 difference between brands if bought separate.. Now the review of the tools: The Chuck on the drill is plactic. The forwards/reverse fell cheap, although mostly durable. Impact is very top heavy unlike my dealt with is much more balanced. Not too big of a deal. I love proter cables hand grips and the Sawzall is perfect much smaller handle lenght and feels better than DeWalt. Charger is different..the charger plugs into the batter not the battery into the charger (the battery is the base for the charger) wish is ok saves space. All in all: a great buy!!

I can't say enough about these tools , they have exceeded my expectations . The battery life is great and recharges very fast , the weight to power ratio is finominal they are so light I don't think that the battery is installed, awesome price. I LOVE MY PORTER CABLE 20V CORDLESS TOOLS!!!!!

While the tools themselves are great for the DiYer, especially for salvage yard picking and mobility, the batteries....................The batteries are complete garbage. Hence the 3 star rating. While each battery is rated to last around 90 minutes on a full charge for around 3 hours of total time, together they only last around 45 minutes total, so less than 25 minutes of use on a full charge for each battery. If you are going to buy this combo pack I highly suggest you buy the upgraded 5.0 batteries that attach to them. These batteries may be alright for the light and the drill that come in this combo pack, but when you need real power for the impact and tiger saw, you will need a beefier battery. If you are going to be mobile and using these tools with these batteries, I suggest you bring along a power source that you can plug your charger into. UPDATE: I broke the impact drill. More to the point, I broke the 1/4" chuck. While trying to break a particularly nasty lug off a wheel in a salvage yard, the ball that holds the bit in broke and now it will not hold the bit in place. It still works, but if I tip the drill upside down, whatever bit is in there will fall out. I will also say this.....I was using 1/2" impact sockets on a 1/4" to 1/2" adapter. It's a beefy little sucker that does a lot more than it was supposedly capable of doing, but the chuck just couldn't stand the pressures. I still use it, I am just more careful when walking around with it so I don't lose bits. :UPDATE 2: I bought a DeWalt 1/4" chuck kit to fix my broken one, and it worked great. My driver is now back to100% functionality. I am really happy with Porter Cable's cordless line, to the point where I pretty much own the whole line, the tools that is, their batteries are still garbage. However, I have switched to their brushless driver and drill, and like those more than the originals.

Tools are reasonably torquey but are not quality. Impact driver bit hold/release mechanism failed in less than 3 months of work and minimally used through a day. Charging is a complete joke, even the "better Charger" shows little to no real improvement...... waste of my money.
