Changed out my bonsai soil about two weeks ago. Plants seem to be thriving. Would purchase this again have it under my favorites Used it as well for my succulents has everything it needs to grow beautifully and healthy.

I love using this for my succulent substrate! The tiny particle size is perfect. Its very similar to my diy mix. I use maifanitum stone instead of pumice because I like the golden color but this is so good for a ready to use mix. I wish it came in a gallon size but succulent pots are usually small so this still works out fine

I love how it holds water but yet it drains all the water.

As a beginner bonsai enthusiast, I was worried about "soil" without any soil in it, but after some time, my Fukien tea tree is thriving. It does require frequent additional fertilizer,as this is literally just rock, (I highly recommend Biogold Original) but the tree is proof positive that the Japanese know what they are doing when it comes to bonsai.

Despite the packaging saying everything had been rinsed prior, there were big puffs of dust coming out of the package when opened. Make sure you rinse well prior to potting.
