Can this be used in a fresh water aquarium for raising KH? Thanks

I would not use this in a freshwater tank. If you are worried about hard/soft water or you want a ph change for a special plant. I suggest you put a baggy of crushed coral in your filter and let that dissolve over time and repeat every few months. However having both a large reef aquarium as well as a smaller freshwater aquarium I have never really had to worry about my KH in my freshwater. In fact I use no chemicals in my freshwater tank as it's so easily self sustaining. Also not trying to sound like a jerk here but it's gonna come out that way I am sure, but if something says REEF or SALTWATER don't put it in freshwater. There are only a few things that can be used in both and this isn't one of them. Ben

My small bio cube has a kh of 7.3 and calcium at 390 i own a bottle of reef carbonate is there something else i should also buy to get this in check?

I use the reef carbonate to increase my KH.. I keep my KH around 10 in my 93 gal mixed reef. You should try to keep kh above 8 if you have hard corals imo. Reef carbonate does not contain any calcium so you need another source. I use ESV b-ionic calcium to maintain my ca level at 450 or higher. Hope this helps

What's the difference between this and Seachem Liquid Marine Buffer?

The liquid marine buffer is to keep your ph stable. Weather ho or low. The carbonate is for the coral growth and health. Your ph levels are very important to your corals growth and health as well. Through my experience use both as needed

Excelente para estabilizar el KH

Lo estoy usando en mi acuario de arrecife y me ha funcionado muy bien para mantener estable la alcalinidad (KH). Se disuelve fácilmente y no enturbia el agua cuando se dosifica correctamente. He notado mayor estabilidad en los parámetros y mejor respuesta en los corales, especialmente en LPS y zoas. Es importante medir antes de dosificar para evitar subidas bruscas, pero siguiendo las instrucciones el producto es muy confiable. Buena concentración y rinde bastante. Marca recomendada para sistemas de arrecife.

Best out there when used with Reef Complete

I started using this and reef complete as my 2 part dosing over a decade ago and they are STILL the best 2 part system in 2020 IMO. Carbonate/bicarbonate is carbonate/bicarbonate, alone this just another brand of alkalinity but it's the balance with the Reef Complete that makes it special because reef complete is the most concentrated calcium chloride and also has strontium and magnesium so you don't have to worry about going out of balance with those which if low inhibit calcium uptake.
