Quality Product With Outstanding Warranty
My first pair of good gaming headphones was a pair of Logitech G933s. I loved them, I used and abused them for about 5 years before they fell apart (adhesive on headband failed, ratcheting mechanism on earmuff cracked, etc.) The build quality was good, I was just hard on them. For these headphones I cannot stress enough the importance of installing Logitech G Hub and setting up a custom EQ profile, especially if you want to use surround sound. When you leave the EQ flat on surround sound these headphones are extremely boomy and bass heavy. When the EQ profile is right these headphones sound great. The mic is clear, and the battery will last around 12 hours with the RGB off, 8-9 with it on. If you run out of battery, the included charging cable is long enough to facilitate charging while wearing the headset. The wireless range I can get is about 10-20 feet through the walls of my bedroom, enough to walk over to the adjacent kitchen and grab a snack while still participating in a call on Discord for example. After 8 months of service my current pair of G935s had an amplifier or the driver for the left ear fail. I called Logitech the next day during business hours, and in 23 minutes total (15 of which was waiting for approval) their agent was able to confirm they were sending a replacement headset. Logitech provides and stands by a 2 year warranty on these, and their claims process is easy and no hassle. Given how quickly they processed my warranty claim, these are still 5 stars despite the failure.

Unbeatable, Older Design & Functionality.
The sound quality in these is unmatched. I had my last pair for over 5 years, and hadn't really noticed that the sound had degraded a bit until I got the new pair. Holy cow, talk about high fidelity. Music of all genre's sounds great in these, and settings are easily tweaked to pair with whatever you're doing; gaming, jamming to tunes, watching a movie, or on a voice call. I play a lot of FPS games, and let me tell you, the bass ROCKS! I had to jump into a quick match right after I got these just so I could really enjoy how punchy the bass is while playing shooters. It really helps you feel immersed in the game. And of course, dtsX surround sound is unbeatable. No more getting ambushed! The last of the #35 series of Logitech headsets. Logitech's new headsets are suffering in quality, but this older design is still chugging away. It's super comfortable, and heavy duty. My last pair fell off my desk hundreds of times before the USB plug finally wore out. I love that you can color match with your other Logitech gear, and GHUB recognizes it immediately -- no compatibility issues. It holds a pretty decent charge (About 9-10 hours in my experience). It also still works on the charger, I know some headsets don't offer that. The only complaint I have is the leather earmuffs occasionally make my head a little sweaty. But those are easily replaced with fabric covers for a mere $15-20.

Good headset but overtime it will give out on you.
Man, I wish this headset was perfect, but it has a pretty serious flaw. Over time the wires inside the headset come loose. This presents in two different flaws: sometimes the microphone won't work when it should, and sometimes the audio only comes out of one ear or is very quiet in volume. For awhile, both things can be corrected by smacking the ear of the headset on the side that has the microphone or by wiggling the power button. Eventually it'll just stop working entirely. I am on my third headset because this keeps happening, but it typically takes a few years to give out. I'm to a point where I have a fourth backup headset in storage because it went on sale and I knew I was going to need another. So why keep buying this one? It's relatively cheap when on a good sale, the audio can't seem to be beat and I just really like the headset in general outside of this one issue. I can walk from one side of my apartment to the other and not lose connectivity, even through a closed door. I also like that the RGB can be synced to my charging stand and keyboard. ๐

An iterative improvement.
This review is written from the perspective of someone who owned the original G930, and later the G933, and now having used the G935 for a few months. The Good Audio is still great despite no longer shipping with Dolby Support. The DTX Surround is better tuned on this device (I didn't like the DTX sound on the G933) and sounds just as good as the Dolby on the G933 New side tone feature is really nice, not just for hearing what I sound like but also for situational awareness. Since the noise cancelling is so good, it's nice to be able to turn on side-tone and be able to hear my environment when I need to. The leatherette ear cushions are surprisingly breathable. This was one of my biggest concerns since I've had leatherette over-ear headphones before and my ears and hair got really sweaty after just an hour or two of use. Since I work from home I was concerned that this new headset would get too hot for all day use. Thankfully I haven't had a problem with this. I can wear it comfortably all day and not get sweaty. Also, since it's the exact same shape and size as the G933, you can swap out the leatherette cushions for your old G933's if you prefer them. Also any replacements made for the G933 should also work for the G935. The new software is more flexible. I don't like how I can't see it's charging status while tuning the device (you can only see it from the home screen), but that's really nothing to complain about. There are a lot more options, you can have multiple profiles for the same game. I personally only use it to turn the lighting off and set the sleep timer but hey, it is objectively better. And the new software can actually be minimized which I really appreciate. Does a better job of switching between PS4 and PC. The G933 would sometimes get confused if I try to move from the PS4 back to the PC and I'd have to turn off the headset and then turn it back on to get it working again. So far I haven't had that issue and it works great with the PS4 just like the last two headsets. The Bad Still has the same mechanical power switch. So like I said I work from home and use this headset daily, almost all day. My G933 headset's power switch got worn out and stopped functioning properly. When turning the headset on I would only get audio in the right ear, and had to take a screw driver, open up the left ear and gently push the little plastic arm of the power switch back into proper alignment so it would work again. This was extremely frustrating but can be avoided by simply not using the power switch. So I've turned it on, and never turn it off. I just let it go to sleep, and when I need to wake it up, all you have to do is plug it in. As soon as it's plugged in it will power on or wake up so that is what I recommend doing to avoid wearing out the power switch.

Updated Review: Left speaker is failing after 1 year of general/normal use.
Update Review: 11/19/2020 Left speaker is now intermittent/goes in and out. No drops, throws, or abusive use. General/normal use daily since arrival for 6-12 hours per day. Avoid this product. It's not worth it. Get something that will last longer. Updated Review: 09/16/2020 I resolved my previous connectivity issues and wrote a suggested update to the pairing procedures on Reddit. Cons: The hinges/any moving pieces that aren't the magnetic drivers squeak. For someone like myself that is sensitive to distractions via sounds this can be problematic. If you're getting these for someone that is or could potentially be on the spectrum I would suggest looking elsewhere. Software is sometimes difficult to navigate since you can access some functions from 2 different areas, but some functions cannot be accessed from both areas. Software updates can/will cause disconnect which can only be resolved by PC reboot. - Note: This does not happen 100% of the time, but more than 50% of the time. I have no idea if changes to profiles that are saved to my account are automatically updated or if that is even an option. Also, I can't compare the uploaded profile to the current profile with the same name. Pros: The sound quality is actually amazing. Using a tone generator you can hear the range is a full 1Hz to 20148Hz. That's assuming your ears are sensitive enough to hear frequencies outside of the normal spectrum of 20Hz-16/17000HZ. Most people have difficulties hearing beyond this scope. DTS works well in games. Lights can be adjusted to show activity down to 1Hz for visual and audible confirmation. - Note: It takes some tinkering. RGB is actually really cool. Large enough to provide a decent amount of isolation from exterior sounds. Not active noise canceling; thick padding. Heavy, but comfortable. I wear these almost all day every single day and have started wearing them outside over my cellphone earbuds for isolation. They really are that comfortable for me. - Note: They are heavy and leave a dent in my head that I do not notice due to the excellent padding. If you have a perfectly round and clean shaved head you will likely notice a visible indentation after wearing these for a few hours. If that's an issue for you look for something lighter. Otherwise, enjoy. Below is the original (rage) review (my apologies): Lasted a whole 2 months and now it will not pair. Will not show connected in G Hub. G Hub software is trash. More than hot garbage; actual dumpster fire. No, I don't want your program trying to even look at my Discord or other programs let alone actually interact with them. The fact that I need your software to even get sound to come out of this device wirelessly makes my question my decision in purchasing this product. I could continue on the software issue, but let's put that aside to talk about the actual headphones. Wow, really nice sounding headphones once you equalize them through the aforementioned software. They might even be true 20hz-20khz, not that human ears can hear that full spectrum. These headphones do offer a bit of noise muting. I can still hear most anything that is going on around me if there are any audio lulls. Cool. Not bad. Wireless, when it was working, was great. I could walk to the kitchen and get a glass of water without any issues. Nice! For everything else... The mic is bad. The kind of bad that makes you question the company for even putting a mic on this headset to begin with. It's not even worth the time to try to adjust the gain through Windows. There aren't any options to adjust the mic through G Hub. If you plan on streaming with this mic, think again. There is no amount of filters that you can put on this mic to get it to sound good and it's not entirely the mics fault. What ever do you mean? How could it not be the mics fault that it's bad? Build quality. This thing is heavy, but feels like you could snap the cans/ear pieces off with a simple mistake of taking them off at the wrong angle. They creak and crackle if you turn your head in even the slightest of ways. You can't noise gate out or compress those creaks and crackles out. If you're using it to play with other people it's annoying for them to have to listen to. The buttons on the headset; why? Hard press tactile buttons on a headset. Are you mad? On the same side of the headset as the mic that is grainy, overly gained, and yet some how sounds like you're talking through a pile of sand. A mute button on the headset itself with tactile feedback. Who decided that was a good idea? Here, listen to me handle my mic and press this ultra loud button so I can mute myself. You're better off just taking your headset off and setting it down. It makes less noise. RGB? Not for me. I don't care for it. I programmed it to be off. This isn't an RGB review. Battery Life is actually pretty great. The charge cable is nice. I'd say that the uptime (time from fully charged to needing charged) is pretty well spot on with what is advertised. Not sure about the charge time. I think that is dependent on use during charging. Comfort; they're heavy and take some getting used to. The padding on top of your head is actually kind of stiff in the beginning and would leave me with a sore spot on the top of my head. The ear pieces go around the ears, not on them and the padding is pretty forgiving to the rest of your head. I do not wear glasses and would NOT recommend these to people that do wear glasses due to the size and amount of pressure that the ear pieces will cause on the legs of your glasses at the temple and behind your ears. Like I said earlier, these headphones are heavy. Due to the weight they need to put more pressure on the sides of your head to prevent slipping. They slip anyway. So, kind of pointless. Now, I'm waiting to hear back from Logitech about how to fix my device pairing issue. Nothing has helped. At this point I don't think this issue can be resolved without either an RMA since the pairing procedures in the manual have failed as well. Oh, and I haven't even had the chance to test out the Dolby DTX that these offer which was the only reason I bought these as opposed to any other wireless headset.

GOAT Headset
I purchased these in 2019. They were a replacement for identical ones my brother had passed down to me because they were old and worn... I loved them so much I got a new set. I've been using the current set for 7 years. I have had some issues with the power button not sliding all the way on which makes it seem like the left or right ear is dead, but sliding it off all the way and all the way back on fixed that problem. The ear covers had to be replaced after a few years due to wear. But there are a lot of cheap options for that. Overall, I love this headset. The quality of the sound, the life of the battery, and the range are unbeatable. I have tried other brands and honestly other than my wired Steelseries headset, nothing has come close. Definitely worth every penny. Would buy again.

Amazing bass, sound quality, and surround sound
I have had this headset for about a year now, and it has held up. the headset has a mediocre battery life with the RGB on but lasts about a whole day with it off. the sound quality is very clean and clear. the bass is phenomenal, I had never had a headset with this much bass. For gaming, the surround sound makes footsteps and gunshots very clear from any direction, which is great for competitive games. the earcups can feel uncomfortable for long sessions, but taking them off frequently helps this issue because these are over-ear, the "noise cancellation" is just the headset muting out any noises with its volume. the microphone is pretty bad, if you get these and do not have a microphone, be prepared to invest in one. however, when the mic is down and unmuted, you can hear the noises that the mic picks up very quietly. it's not at all distracting and can help if you want to talk low while gaming with friends late at night over game chat or discord. I used this headset with a PC and have not tried it with any other consoles. This does not have Bluetooth! it connects through a USB port with a dongle, I did not know this when I bought it, and might be important to know. if you do not have an open USB port, you might need a USB dongle. overall, this headset is very great at what it does. you hear clearly, and the battery doesn't become an issue unless you forget to charge it, but you can still use this while it charges.

The sound & software are great, but the headphones don't last long
I've now had 2 pairs of these headphones. First pair was purchased I believe in 2019 or 2020, and my 2nd pair in 2022. They sound amazing, and they're quite comfortable, albeit a bit heavy at first. But once you get use to the weight, they're not bad. The large earmuff are great considering I have huge ears lol. The surround sound is great for watching movies, or listening to live musical performances. However, with all that said, these headphones do not last very long at all. I am a daily gamer, and use them daily.. but they don't get abused or anything. Neither pair was hardly ever really dropped, or slammed, or anything, with the few couple exceptions being dropped on a carpet floor. Within the 1st year of my 1st pair, the sound would cut in and out constantly. I learned that the little switch on the side to turn on the headphones had some sort of defect, and I would literally have to wiggle it around in order to make them work properly. Like, they'd be on, but no sound, or muffled sound would come out of them. Wiggling the power switch would normally fix it, albeit not for too long at times. Fast forward to 2022, and I cant take it anymore, so I buy a new pair. Within a year, the same exact problem happens again with the power switch having to be wiggled in order to get any kind of sound from them. And now with this 2nd pair within the last 6 months, they keep randomly disconnecting, and reconnecting to my PC, sometimes over and over and over again. I've switched my USB receiver into several different USB slots, and nothing fixes it. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the program, same thing. So, if you want these headphones, just know that you'll only get maybe 1 year worth of use from them before they start acting up.. who knows, maybe even less. In conclusion, I recommend getting a different pair of headphones to be truthful. These sound great, and they would be 5 star headphones if I didn't have this same issue happen TWICE. First time could have been a defective pair, but happening twice in a row just shows some sort of design flaw. 2/5 stars. Sound great, poor build quality. Sad to see from a company such as Logitech.
