A comprehensive guide to the history and practice of Angular Magic โข Details the development of the magical system of the Nine Angles by the Church of Satan and the Temple of Set, as well as its internal body, the Order of the Trapezoid โข Analyzes the 3 key rites of Angular Magic: Die Elektrischen Vorspiele , the Ceremony of the Nine Angles, and the Call to Cthulhu โข Explores historical influences on Angular Magic, including Pythagorean number mysticism, John Deeโs Enochian magic, and the writings of H. P. Lovecraft โข Includes practical examples, daily practices, and guidance on creating your own rituals Revealing the magical uses of number and geometry as tools for introspection, self-development, and creating change in both the inner and outer worlds, Toby Chappell explores the rites, history, and potent practices of Angular Magic and Infernal Geometry, the Left-Hand Path of Sacred Geometry. Focusing on the advanced magical system of the Nine Angles, he details the systemโs development by the early Church of Satan and later the Temple of Set, as well as its internal body, the Order of the Trapezoid. He shows how the system first emerged in the Ceremony of the Nine Angles, written by Michael Aquino and published in Anton Szandor LaVeyโs The Satanic Rituals . He explores historical influences on Angular Magic, including Pythagorean number mysticism, John Deeโs Enochian magic, the theories of William Mortensen, and, most importantly, the writings of H. P. Lovecraft as well as other contributors to his Cthulhu mythos. The author analyzes the 3 key rites of Angular Magic: Die Elektrischen Vorspiele , the Ceremony of the Nine Angles, and the Call to Cthulhu, expanding upon them to demonstrate how readers can craft their own rituals. He examines the Nine Angles individually, detailing their keywords, powers, and related deities, and explains how each can be used in magical practices and as part of an ongoing initiatory process. He offers practical examples, including use of Angular Magic in divination, sigils, and magical symbols, and guidance on creating your own practices--a core component of the ever-evolving Left-Hand Path. Offering a self-directed path of magic and empowerment, previously unavailable to those outside the Temple of Set, Chappell shows how the Nine Angles must be worked with and experienced personally in order to effect true transformation and change. Review: As described, brand new - Any LHP book that is worthy of attention, like this one, will not be properly understood by many who peruse it as the world is filled with those who attempt to practice above their skill level and outside of their scope. This is not a book for a beginner but rather for a โseasoned veteranโ of the LHP, someone who has been on and lived the path for decades. The author does an EXCELLENT job of explaining histories of various organizations and imageries and shedding light on truths and clearing up some falsehoods as well. Again, these are ADVANCED LHP concepts and are intended for those who are already familiar with the path and itโs actual origins directly from their sources and NOT the myths of pop culture. The concepts are clearly and concisely explained leaving much room for creative tinkering. Previous reviewers who misunderstood the text, it context and itโs concepts are clearly not qualified for this read and need to do their prerequisite reading and study before they jump into advanced concepts. While some may claim to be great mathematicians, this book just goes to show and prove that without the additional Metaphysical knowledge and experience that is required, some may find it confusing. For those experienced practicioners who are legitimately on and living the LHP, this book will NOT DISAPPOINT and is a moving, innovative and VALUABLE addition to any Sorcerer/Sorceressโs library. Review: The Guide to the Nine Angles - Toby Chappellโs book is one of those rare books that is an essential โmust-readโ for those who pursue the Left Hand Path. The Nine Angles provide a model for understanding and guiding Becoming and much, much more. Most importantly, the Angles themselves are responsive to the mind of the Initiate and and they will transform accordingly. This book is all meat with no potatoes. Chappell goes into many interesting thought stimulating areas such as the concepts of curved and angular time and the influence of H.P. Lovecraft and John Dee. I was particularly interested in reading about Anton LaVey and Michael Aquino and the Lovecraftian rituals from The Satanic Rituals. Chappell presents a coherent and unique system for Working with angular magic in this book, including a daily practice and angular rites of passage. Even a system of divination with trapezoidal tiles with RโLyehian symbols is revealed. There is a lot here. Iโm barely scratching the surface of the tools and mind altering concepts explored in this book that are found nowhere else. I am curious to see the impact of this book over time. I hope to see more works from Mr. Chappell in the Is-To-Be.

Not just a grimoire for the LHP...
This is one of the best new books on the Western Left Hand Path to come out of the occult closet. An alternate title could be, "The T.O.S. Necronomicon: A handbook to magickal self-transformation and creative process on the LHP". This book not only contains Setian keys to magick, both practical and ceremonial, but also contains a sound map and method for creatives and self-initiation workings for any path (as long as you keep an open mind). Weaving together C.O.S. (Church of Satan) ideas and practices in 'angular magic' with Lovecraftian deities and Pythagorian geometry, this book takes you on a multi-dimensional journey. In the T.O.S., there is the "Order of the Trapezoid", which have been making use of and developing these practices for a few decades, but until now were only for those initiates. Buckle-up, there are lots of sharp turns on this ride.

A Masterpiece
A powerful and deep book that lays the foundation for a unique system of magick. The concepts require quite a bit of thought to integrate, but are also effective in a way that I have not encountered before. This is probably not the best choice for a person new to occult studies, as there is no hand holding or coddling. For an experienced practitioner, though, it is an absolute gold mine. As another reviewer said, this is a must have book.

Super informative
10/10 If you are new to LHP donโt get this book first as I did, as it will leave you more confused than when you started. However, Mr. Chappel does in fact know what heโs writing about and the information in this book will prove invaluable to those who understand it.

Not your typical geometry textbook.
A smooth read - not exactly easy, but Toby breaks the details down into comprehensible details both historical and mythological.

Infernal Geometry book
Sort of a mini-Drawing Down the Moon, only with a variety of occult practitioners

Michael Aquinos legacy
Is always an interesting insight into the legacy left by the late Aquino and those who walk in his footsteps. I find this type of occultism utterly FASCINATING.

Not quite what you would expect
I love the context given for the whole content; nothing is said alone, but rather accompanied by literature or history.
