how do you know when to wear what lens?

Yellow for overcast/dark days. Orange for average and general use. Gray for bright sunshine. Clear for range use under a roof.

I use them at the range and for shooting sporting clays and the work great for me. No hard case they come with a soft material sleeve with a draw string for the glasses and a zippered neoprene pouch that fits the sleeve with the glasses along with all of the lenses. Hope this helps.

How do you change lenses? It feels like it's going to break

They should not break, just take your time and don't force the lens into the frame. I have changed mine probably 20 - 25 times with no issues. These are nice glasses and I am pleased with them.

What color for shooting is best?

Rose color or vermillion works the best. Use Morgan Optical in NY. He has his own vermillion color and is a trap shooter.
